The smallest known grain in the world. A cereal type grass producing a tiny grain with mild, nutty flavour which is high in calcium, protein & fibre. May be used in cooking (similar to quinoa), breads, porridges, and grain-free fermented beverages. After harvest, its straw may be mixed with mud for making bricks. Plant is frost sensitive.
