***NOT TO NT***  (Zea mays)  A sprouting corn used to make incredibly sweet corn shoots which are used in salad mixes or as a garnish.  The flavour is so intensely sweet that you will have to try before you believe!  Harvest after approx. 6 days (no longer as they will become fibrous). 

Must be grown in complete darkness until harvest as exposure to light will cause them to become fibrous and unpleasant.

Presoak: 12 to 16 hours (cold water)

Suitable Growth Medium: Soil (preferred) or Hydroponic

Germ time: 2-3 Days

Harvest time: 12-16 Days

Color:A bright yellow that turns to a light green

Flavor: A sugary sweet flavor

Texture: Fresh and crunchy
