SWEET POTATO - OKINAWA (5 Slips)

***NOT TAS, NT, SA, WA***  (Ipomea batatas)  Native American heirloom.  White skinned tuber with rich purple flesh.  Highly nutritious.  May be boiled, baked, roasted yet also used in many sweet desserts such as cakes, brownies, icings etc.  Trailing vine. 

Available as:

Single large tuber - plant whole or leave to sit on bench in shallow tray of water to allow bulb to 'shoot' producing 'slips' which may then be planted.
​Pack of small tubers - may be planted directly into ground.
Slips - Cuttings with roots ready to plant (most popular option)

Note:  Please allow 7-10 working days for order to be dispatched.  We cut the slips fresh from the vine upon receipt of your order.  They are then allowed to sit and form roots.  We then wait until the beginning of the week to dispatch so that they arrive to you in optimum condition.
