(Apium graveolens var. dulce)  Stringless, dark-green, stalks to 65cm.  Vigorous growing.  85-125 days.  1600 seeds

HINT:  To prevent celery becoming thin and stringy, keep well fed with an organic fertiliser and keep well watered.

RECIPE:  CELERY SALT - Celery is naturally salty and can be used as a salt substitute.  Simply slice celery thinly and dry in a cool oven or dehydrator.  Then blend in a blender or coffee grinder until powdered.
